To perspective applicant:
I have an MP3 recording, located here in this post, of a tribute performance, that I want preserved as a complete, partially professionally notated score. The source is audio only, so you’ll be working entirely by ear. I need a full conductor-level transcription that captures every part as heard, not a lead sheet or simplified chord chart. Looking for the first 4 bars of the section, 8 bars after the French horn solo. Use midi Instrumentation to include exactly what is on the recording: bass guitar, a violin section, separate male and female choir lines, horn, piano, and timpani drum, and possibly one other. If you notice additional lines or doublings in the mix, feel free to flag them so we decide together whether they should be added. I’m expecting a cleanly engraved score (PDF) plus the editable notation file in the software you use—Sibelius, Finale, or MuseScore or another are all fine. I'm expecting a recording of the completed score, Mp3, from your Daw, real assigned instruments, to follow along with your pdf, to verify that your score is useable in a Daw.

Requirements: In-depth knowledge of classical music theory and notation is preferred. Music degree preferred. Score must include every performance nuance: dynamics (pp, p, mf, f, ff), crescendo and diminuendo markings, articulations, tempo indications, and phrasing — a complete, performance-ready director's score, of the 4 bars not a simplified lead sheet.
Applicants will be asked to answer a brief, substantive question about the music itself (for example: "What is the harmonic resolution at bar 8?") — this is not a test or audition, simply a way to gauge genuine musical fluency.
Prior transcription or score-preparation experience required; a sample of past work is mandatory.
