We are a fast-growing AI automation agency seeking a knowledgeable and dependable AI Automation Consultant to serve as a technical advisor for our client projects. Your primary role will be to help design, evaluate, and guide the implementation of AI-powered workflows and automations, especially in sectors like private medical practices, professional services, and small businesses.
You’ll work closely with our founder and freelance team to ensure our solutions are technically sound, secure, scalable, and align with client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Consult on architecture for AI automation workflows (e.g., billing automation, appointment follow-ups, lead qualification).
Advise on when to use RPA (Robotic Process Automation), NLP models, APIs, and no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, OpenAI, LangChain, ChatGPT plugins).
Recommend the right tools or platforms for each use case (e.g., OCR tools for document processing, secure hosting options for sensitive data).
Assist in designing solutions that either:
Operate fully within a customer’s environment, or
Use cloud-based tools while ensuring compliance with HIPAA or other standards (when applicable).
Provide technical documentation or diagrams as needed to support implementation teams.
Troubleshoot technical issues during implementation or testing.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong understanding of AI automation tools and platforms (OpenAI, Make.com, Zapier, LangChain, GPT agents, etc.)
Experience designing automations for service businesses (experience with healthcare clients a plus)
Comfortable discussing data security, API integrations, webhooks, and system architectures
Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, or industry-specific compliance is a bonus
Great communicator—can simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Availability for weekly check-ins and async communication via Slack or email
