Job Overview

We are seeking native English speakers with United States or the United Kingdom Accent  for a straightforward voice data collection project.

The task involves recording yourself reading a provided list of 200 short phrases (standard device, smart-assistant, and navigation commands) using your smartphone. The entire task can easily be completed in a single sitting.

Project Expectations

  • The Task: Read and record 200 short phrases in a natural, clear speaking voice.

  • The Environment: Must be recorded in a strictly quiet room with absolutely zero background noise (no fans, AC units, TV, music, or background chatter).

  • The Workflow: Complete the entire list in one sitting and upload the files to our designated cloud folder.

Requirements

  • Must be a native English speaker with the US or UK accent.

  • Access to a modern smartphone with a high-quality built-in microphone.

  • Ability to follow simple file-naming guidelines.

  • Strict adherence to the quiet environment rule (recordings with background hiss or noise will not be accepted).

Compensation & Duration

  • Time: Takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes to complete.

How to Apply (Voice Sample Required)

To filter out bots and verify accent/audio quality, you must submit a short voice sample reading the test sentence below.

Please record yourself reading this exact sentence:

"Hey Siri, please turn off the sound and calculate the fastest route home."

How to submit your sample:

  1. Record your sample using your phone or a quick tool like Vocaroo.

  2. Either attach the audio file directly to your proposal, OR paste your audio recording link into your application message.

Note: Proposals without a clear voice sample reading the exact test sentence will be automatically declined.
