Architect / Building Systems Designer
We are developing a proprietary steel building system utilizing prefabricated steel trusses fabricated from angle steel profiles, gusset plate connections, and bolted structural assemblies.
We are seeking an experienced Architect or Building Designer to help create complete building packages for residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications.
The successful candidate will work directly with our structural engineering team to develop building layouts that are aesthetically appealing, code-conscious, efficient to manufacture, and practical to erect in the field.
Responsibilities
Develop building concepts, layouts, and architectural configurations.
Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawing packages.
Coordinate architectural design with structural requirements and manufacturing constraints.
Develop standard building models for multiple spans, roof pitches, and applications.
Optimize building designs for cost efficiency, fabrication efficiency, and constructability.
Collaborate with engineers to refine structural layouts and building systems.
Create presentation drawings and conceptual renderings when required.
Assist in developing a repeatable catalog of building designs and configurations.
The ideal candidate understands how to transform engineered structural systems into practical, attractive, and marketable building products while maintaining efficiency in fabrication and construction.
