Audio Annotation & Transcription Project

Project Summary
We are looking for skilled freelance audio annotators to support an AI training data annotation project. The work involves annotating and transcribing pre-recorded call-style audio clips using our online annotation platform.
Each audio clip is approximately 2 minutes long. Freelancers will segment conversations, identify speakers, and transcribe speech accurately according to detailed project guidelines.
Languages Required
Malaysian Mandarin
Malaysian Cantonese

Key Responsibilities
Segment audio recordings into utterances following provided annotation rules
Identify and label speakers accurately
Transcribe speech verbatim in Malaysian Mandarin or Malaysian Cantonese
Apply content labels such as intents, categories, or events as instructed
Flag unclear, noisy, or non-target-language segments
Maintain quality and consistency according to project accuracy standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Malaysian Mandarin or Malaysian Cantonese
Strong listening, comprehension, and writing skills
Prior experience in audio transcription or annotation
Comfortable working with online annotation tools and platforms
High attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines
Ability to complete and pass a short qualification test before onboarding
