The Company is seeking a mechanical engineer/industrial designer to modify and enhance an existing aluminum automotive body design to accommodate modifications for customer need. The existing body is a hybrid design utilizing standard stock aluminum profiles with formed sheet aluminum, welded together and finished with standard automotive paint process. See example model below.
Company will provide a starting point STEP file, design can be done in either Solidworks, Inventor or Fusion.
Modifications in design will potentially be ongoing and multiple. More details will be shared during the vetting/interview process.
