I have migrated my small business web sire from GoDaddy to AWS. The site is working fine but I am stuck trying to set up Workmail in AWS. The AWS help and instructions are not clear and I can't understand why I need an "alias" in Workmail, and then the alias is included in the email addresses.
The emails are currently still working on GoDaddy and are critical for my business. I can't a lot of downtime (customers are global and it's 24 x 7).
I have sset up all the DNS records as stated in the AWS documentation, except MX record, because if I change that it will kill my existing email hosting.
You will have to work with me in real time, so I can change the MX record. Also I want to understand the weirdness of AWS / Workmail so I can administer it myself after this.
Should be one hour of work I think. I do not need a plan, I do not need an enterprise solution, I do not want to become a "client" of some consulting team. Just 1:1 work with somebody please. Also I do not need to migrate existing online mail. I do need to connect email clients e.g. Outlook.
