Azure Fabric Specialist

In Cloud BI we are seeking an Azure Data Fabric Specialist with deep expertise in Azure Service Fabric, Azure data services, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will design, build, and operate scalable, resilient, and secure data platforms leveraging native Azure services, data modeling best practices, and modern DataOps/CloudOps principles.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Development
Design and maintain cloud data architectures on Azure with a strong focus on Azure Service Fabric.
Develop stateful and stateless microservices using Reliable Services and Reliable Actors.
Build end-to-end data ingestion, processing, and distribution pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Databricks, Event Hub, and Azure SQL.
Implement and manage storage solutions on Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
Design scalable data models and semantic layers for Power BI.
Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports, following best practices in performance optimization and governance.

Operations & Maintenance
Manage, monitor, and optimize Service Fabric clusters in production environments.
Implement HA, resilience, partitioning, and replication strategies.
Troubleshoot cluster issues and run advanced diagnostics.
Perform rolling upgrades and manage deployments with minimal downtime.

DevOps & Automation
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Build CI/CD pipelines for microservices, data pipelines, and Power BI deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Set up observability practices using Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.

Collaboration
Work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud-native data solutions.
Translate business requirements into data models and Power BI solutions.
Document system architectures, data flows, microservice topologies, and operational procedure

Requirements
Technical (must-have)
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
2+ years working with Azure Service Fabric in production environments.
Strong understanding of stateful/stateless microservice architectures.
Hands-on experience with Azure data services:
Azure Data Factory
Azure Data Lake Gen2
Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics
Event Hub / Service Bus
Proficiency in C# (required for Service Fabric) and/or Python.
Strong SQL knowledge.

Power BI Expertise
Experience developing interactive dashboards, KPIs, and reports in Power BI.
Expertise in DAX, Power Query/M, and data modeling.
Ability to design star/snowflake schemas, semantic models, and optimized datasets.
Experience with Power BI governance, workspace management, and deployment pipelines.

DevOps
Experience with IaC: ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics projects.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.

Nice to Have
Experience with Kubernetes / AKS.
Knowledge of Databricks or Spark.
Experience with enterprise-level BI governance frameworks.
