**Project Overview:**
We need a searchable fabric product finder for an existing WordPress website. This is a feature add-on (not a full site build) that lets customers filter through ~1,000 fabric products by style, colour, and usage type.
**What We Provide:**
- 15 physical fabric catalogues with swatches and specifications
- Existing WordPress website (already built and hosting ready)
- Spreadsheet with fabric data: collection, design, composition, GSM, width, usage
- High-quality PDF catalogue files ready for image extraction
**What Needs to Be Built:**
**1. Image Preparation (1,000+ fabrics)**
- Extract/photograph fabric swatches from catalogues
- Convert to web-optimized PNG format (one clear image per fabric)
- Organize files with consistent naming convention
**2. Fabric Data Tagging**
- Assign colour family to each fabric (from fixed list: Cream, Beige, Grey, Charcoal, Blue, Green, Teal, Gold, Pink, Red, Brown, Black)
- Tag fabric style type: Plain, Pastel, Bright & Bold, Embroidered, Printed, Textured
- Match with existing usage data (Curtain, Cushion, Sofa, etc.)
- Deliver clean, structured CSV/spreadsheet ready for WordPress import
**3. WordPress Filter System**
- Build custom search/filter interface on existing WordPress site
- Implement faceted filtering: Style → Colour → Usage
- Display matching fabric thumbnails in grid layout
- Link each fabric to existing flipbook catalogue pages
- Mobile-responsive design
- Integration with existing site theme and branding
**Deliverables:**
- 1,000+ web-optimized PNG fabric images
- Complete fabric database (CSV) with all tags and metadata
- Fully functional, live WordPress filter/search feature
- Documentation for future updates
**Project Scope & Timeline:**
- No fixed deadline (flexible)
- Preference for freelancers available to meet/discuss in Dubai or via detailed video calls
**Requirements:**
- Strong WordPress experience (WooCommerce or custom post types)
- Experience with product filters/faceted search
- Attention to detail for image processing and data accuracy
- Ability to work with existing site without breaking current functionality
- Can coordinate with existing backend developer if needed
