Build Fulfillment & Marketplace Platform

We are launching a commerce-platform for alcohol brands and retailers (U.S./Canada). The system will intake orders via Shopify, route fulfillment to retailers, generate shipping labels via ShipStation, and handle vendor payouts via Stripe Connect. The project will require backend API work (Node.js/TypeScript or equivalent), database design (Postgres), front-end dashboard (React/Next.js preferred) and experience with Shopify webhooks, ShipStation API, Stripe Connect accounts/transfers. Bonus: experience with regulated shipping (age-verification, state restrictions) in alcohol or other restricted verticals.

Deliverables:
Retailer onboarding (license capture, API key capture for ShipStation, connect Stripe Connect)
Order intake for Shopify checkout via webhook
Compliance engine for shipping restrictions
Order routing engine (choose retailer based on rules)
ShipStation call to create shipments & labels
Dashboard for retailer: orders list, shipments tracking, payouts history
Stripe Connect flow: vendor payout logic (your fee + vendor net)
Clear codebase, documentation and deployment instructions
Timeline: 6–8 weeks for MVP.
