We need a reliable, tech-savvy individual in Japan to collect specific LTE/5G network diagnostic data using specialized Android network monitoring tools.This is a straightforward technical task suitable for someone with Android rooting experience and basic familiarity with cellular networks.
Scope of work
Prerequisite - MUST BE LOCALLY IN JAPAN
Primary Task:Use Network Signal Guru (NSG) application on a rooted Android device to capture cellular network system information (SIB decoding)Collect readings from multiple Japanese mobile operators in your areaExport captured data and provide it to us in specified format.
Specific Data We Need:
System Information Block (SIB) data, particularly SIB1 and SIB2,
IMS emergency support indicators
Network configuration parameters
Cell identity and frequency band information
Required Outputs:
Network Coverage Report
Brief summary document (template provided) including:
Networks tested (Docomo, au, SoftBank, Rakuten)
Frequency bands observed (Band 1, 3, 8, 11, 18, 19, 21, 28, 42, etc.)
Testing locations (general area, no exact address needed)
Signal quality observations (RSRP, RSRQ values)
Screenshots of SIB1 decoding showing:
- ims-EmergencySupport-r9 flag status
- eCallOverIMS-Support-r11 flag status (if present)
- Cell identity information (PLMN, TAC, Cell ID, PCI, EARFCN)
