With Quickbooks now charging $649 for the first year of Quickbooks Desktop and the price increases by $100 year over year. I have had to bail from using Intuit Software altogether. I need a program written that can write our checks on blank check stock. The check is on top, and then there are two perforated stubs. I am not going to attach a check copy to the initial posting but if someone shows a serious interest, I will send you a redacted copy via email. This can be either a desktop program which I would prefer or something that is web based, but it would have to be housed on on our server which is a Linux server running Virtualizor and I could spin up a VM with whatever flavor of Linux you prefer.
If you know how to write it as a Windows program, which if I am being honest, I would prefer, I can send you a link to download the program that I am currently using, but this program will only work with pre-printed checks. I can send you the "test print" form so you can see as well. I am going to ask that some edits be made to the way the date and check number are printed.
I understand that you will not be totally able to come up with a price, so let's discuss and we can come up with something.
I am happy to work with anyone anywhere in the world. I will say though, if you live in a country where the cost of living is an average of 75% less than what it costs to live in America, please give me a fair price. If I wanted to work with a US Programmer and pay those types of prices -- I would have posted locally, not globally.
