Civil Engineer Needed - Orlando, FL

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced civil engineer familiar with Florida land development and permitting processes to assist with a time-sensitive project in Orlando (Orange County), Florida.

Project Overview:
Location: 5740 Wetherbee Road, Orlando, FL 32824
Scope: Engineering work to support permitting for the installation of a 4,800 sq ft prefabricated steel building (48' x 100')
Placement: The structure will be located on the westernmost side of the parcel

Property Info:
Current survey and topography available
Existing development plans were previously designed for a truck parking lot
Jurisdiction: Orange County, Florida (unincorporated area)

Objective: 
Design a site plan that reflects the smallest feasible development footprint to minimize regulatory requirements, such as:
Retention/detention
Landscaping
Impervious area calculations

Deliverables:
Engineered site plan suitable for submission to Orange County for building permit approval
Drainage/stormwater analysis (if required)
Grading, utility, and erosion control plans (as needed)
Collaboration with local architect/building supplier (building will be provided with stamped architectural plans)
Coordination on minimizing scope/impact to avoid unnecessary regulatory triggers

Candidate Requirements:
Civil engineer or firm with experience in Florida commercial development permitting
Preferably licensed in the state of Florida
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling tools (if needed)
Familiarity with Orange County regulations and permitting processes
Ability to begin immediately and work on an accelerated timeline

Budget & Timeline:
We are open to fixed-fee or hourly arrangements
Project must begin immediately
