Communication-First Engineer (anywhere)

We are looking for a communication-first Software Engineer who is always eager to learn and take on new challenges - even when the problem, technology, or domain is completely new.
You do not need to know everything on day one. What matters most is curiosity, adaptability, and near-native English communication skills.

🔑 Key Requirements
Excellent verbal English (professional level - must be comfortable in meetings)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Genuine eagerness to learn new technologies and domains
Willingness to work on challenges you may have no prior experience with
Ability to ask clear questions, learn quickly, and execute confidently

💻 Technical Expectations
General understanding of software development concepts
Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. C/C++, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Java, C#, Go, etc.)
Ability to read, understand, and discuss unfamiliar codebases
Junior engineers: strong fundamentals and curiosity
Senior engineers: ability to explain decisions, tradeoffs, and mentor others

⏰ Work Schedule
10–30 hours per week
Must overlap with US time zones
Flexible scheduling within agreed availability

💰 Compensation
$40 – $60 per hour
Based on experience, communication skills, and learning ability
Up to 2 months of non-paid trial period

🧪 Trial Period
Up to 3 months of non-paid trial period, depending on experience level
Trial scope and expectations will be clearly defined in advance
Successful completion leads to a paid engagement at the agreed hourly rate
