Contract Mobile Developer (Flutter or React Native) for Same-Day Delivery MVP
Overview
GoBeauty is a same-day beauty delivery marketplace launching in South Florida. We connect independent, locally owned beauty supply stores with customers and a vetted network of drivers. We're hiring a contract mobile developer to build our launch customer app for iOS and Android. This is a clean, well-scoped MVP with a defined feature list and fixed milestones, roughly 8 to 12 weeks, not an open-ended engagement.
What you're building
A native customer ordering app that plugs into the backend and dispatch pipeline we already run. When a customer pays, the order lands in our existing order queue and drives our existing driver dispatch. You are not building the back office or a driver app. You're building a fast, reliable customer ordering experience on top of infrastructure that already exists.
Scope of work
- Accounts, login, profile, and saved delivery addresses
- Vendor and product browsing
- Cart with a minimum-order rule (single vendor per order)
- Share Cart: a shareable cart link a recipient can open and check out
- Stripe checkout with distance-based delivery fees, a flat service fee, free-delivery rules, coupon codes, and a tip field
- Order submission into our existing backend (Supabase expected)
- Order status, push notifications (FCM), and order history
- Store-ready iOS and Android release builds and submission support
Out of scope
Loyalty currency, a vendor portal, a driver app, automated payouts, batched-delivery routing, and in-app chat. These are later phases.
Framework
Build in Flutter or React Native, whichever you are strongest in. Both integrate cleanly with our existing backend. Quote in the one you will actually use.
Tech we expect
- Flutter or React Native, with production apps shipped to both the App Store and Google Play
- Stripe payments
- Integration with our existing Supabase (or Firebase) backend. You integrate, you do not design a new one
- Push notifications (FCM)
- A distance and geocoding API (for example Google Maps Distance Matrix)
Design and assets
There is no exportable design file. Build the UI from our brand standards (colors, fonts, logo kit) and reference screenshots of our existing prototype. We provide real brand photography. Quote UI implementation accordingly.
Milestones and payment
Fixed price per milestone, paid on acceptance against a written checklist.
- M1 (weeks 1 to 2): setup, accounts, and connection to our backend
- M2 (weeks 3 to 5): vendor and product browse, cart, minimum-order rule
- M3 (weeks 6 to 8): checkout (distance fees, coupons, tip, Stripe) and order submission into our pipeline
- M4 (weeks 9 to 11): Share Cart, order status and push, order history, QA, store-ready builds
Contract terms
Work for hire, full IP assignment to GoBeauty LLC. All code lives in our repository from day one. You build inside our own accounts (Stripe, Supabase or Firebase, Apple Developer, Google Play). You get access, you do not own the infrastructure. NDA. Communication and task tracking through our project tool.
