Description:
We're looking for a designer to create a fresh, modern envelope-style portfolio (11.25” x 11.25”) for a tween product (ages 11–12).
This is a real product going into production, made from soft PVC vinyl with full-color printing.
The portfolio will include a closure element — preferably a hidden magnetic closure or snap/tab — and we’re open to creative, well-designed solutions.
👉 Most important:
Design a portfolio that feels like something an 11–12-year-old girl treasures — personal, thoughtfully elevated, and clearly not childish.
What we need:
• 2–4 original design concepts
• Clean, well-balanced layouts (front, flap, interior)
• Simple mockups
Design direction:
The design should feel age-appropriate in a “growing up” way — something a girl this age feels proud to own.
Think:
• Slightly elevated
• Thoughtful
• Current and relevant — without relying on obvious trends
Please avoid:
• Childish or cutesy designs
• Overly mature or corporate looks
• Trend-driven styles that won’t age well
• Busy or cluttered layouts
• Generic, template-style work

• Current samples (we do not like these)
• Glow Girl journal (already produced — design should coordinate with it)
👉 Note:
The journal is one of several items that will go into the portfolio. The design should feel cohesive with it, but not be built entirely around it. Other items still require design.
