Role Purpose:  Manage SEO (search engine optimization) and SMO (social media optimization) across multiple brands to increase visibility, engagement, and conversions. Ensure consistent content rhythm, backlink growth, keyword development, and customer interaction.


Rate Of Pay: Hourly, time tracked in Zoho Projects.  


Scope

Start with 2 brands, expanding to 4 brands within one month.


Key Responsibilities


Weekly SEO Checks

  • Crawl websites for errors (404s, redirects, duplicate content, missing tags).

  • Review Google Search Console for impressions, clicks, and coverage issues.

  • Monitor page speed performance.

  • Track keyword rankings (roof, Fredericton, asphalt shingles, etc.).

  • Research, manage, and develop keyword lists relevant to each brand’s target market.

  • Secure 2–3 new quality backlinks per week.

  • Publish or refresh 1–2 optimized articles per brand.

  • Ensure proper internal and external linking within all content.

  • Validate metadata, headers, and schema alignment.


Weekly SMO Checks

  • Track engagement metrics: likes, shares, comments, saves, CTR.

  • Maintain consistent posting schedule per brand.

  • Review best-performing posts and refine strategy.

  • Monitor follower growth and demographics.

  • Respond promptly to mentions, tags, DMs, and comments.

  • Actively engage with customer reviews and shout-outs.

  • Ensure all posts include correct links back to website content.

  • Maintain brand voice in visuals, hashtags, and captions.


Publishing Rhythm

  • SEO content: 1–2 optimized articles or updates per week.

  • Facebook/LinkedIn: 3–5 posts per week.

  • Instagram: 4–7 posts per week (feed + stories).

  • TikTok/Reels: 3–5 short videos per week if relevant.

  • X (Twitter): 1–3 posts per day.

  • YouTube: 1 video every 1–2 weeks.


Tools & Systems

  • Daily use of Zoho suite, including Zoho Social, Zoho SalesIQ, and Zoho CRM.

  • Job performance and task tracking completed via Zoho Projects.

  • Must be comfortable managing campaigns, reporting, engagement, and keyword development within Zoho and third-party SEO tools.


Reporting & Alignment

  • Provide weekly traffic source reports (organic vs. social).

  • Align SEO calendar with high-performing social content.

  • Cross-promote all new SEO content across social platforms.
