PROOFREADER / COPY EDITOR JOB POST
Hello Copywriters,
I'm an author, just starting my business in publishing contemporary romances in eKindle. I’m looking for someone to perform copy editing and proofreading for contemporary romance stories on an ongoing basis.
My genre is steamy contemporary romances.
Edits will be performed in Word with tracking changes and using the Chicago Manual of Style. Please only apply if you are experienced with Chicago Manual of Style.
I'm looking for someone who doesn't take long to respond, and who can turn around a project from time to time with short notice. Sometimes we need different things edited on a whim.
I need a professional editor who has excellent communication skills. I will need portions of the draft highlighted if there is a need for extended revisions
Please submit a recent one-page copy-editing work sample, your typical turnaround time, your experience level, education, and what type of books you personally like to read.

Include your experience editing in the contemporary romance genre.
Our rate is $0.003/word per book for copy editing and proofreading. We offer steady, reliable work.
Books range from 50,000 to 70,000 words.
