We are looking for freelancers based in the United Kingdom and the United States to help collect electronic receipts received via email. Only email receipts are accepted - photo receipts are out of scope.
The task involves collecting email receipts across 12 merchant categories (category list attached). All receipts must belong to you and be delivered in .eml format.
Each receipt must clearly include:
- Merchant name
- Merchant category
- Purchase or billing date
- Total amount and currency (USD for US, GBP for UK)
Requirements:
- Receipts must be from completed purchases only (no refunds, returns, failed transactions, or pre-orders)
- Receipts must be no older than 2 years
-Order confirmations are acceptable only if they represent a finalized purchase
- For major merchants (e.g., Amazon, eBay), delivery-related language is allowed if the receipt clearly shows finalized purchase details (Food-related deliveries such as groceries or takeout are exceptions)
- Recurring payments are limited to a maximum of 5 receipts per merchant per participant
- International currency is allowed only for travel, hotels, or cross-border purchases
- No forwarded emails, gift cards, $0-value receipts, or partial receipts
