Project: Fully Automated Wool Processing Line – Sorting, Crushing, Drying, and Packaging

I am seeking an engineer or design expert to develop and draw detailed plans for a fully automated wool processing line with a minimum capacity of 5 tons per hour. The workspace is approximately 500 m² with a ceiling height of 6 meters.

Background and Details:

  • My prototype: a crushing machine that processes about 300 kg of wool per hour, utilizing waste from nearby factories as insulation material in new construction ceilings.
  • The line should be completely automated, minimizing or eliminating operator involvement.
  • Wool arrives by truck in either 100-300 liter plastic bags or 1m³ Big Bags.
  • The truck is unloaded onto a conveyor that transports wool into the processing area.
  • The process includes wool sorting:
    • Separating wet and dry wool
    • Moist wool is transported to a drum for air-based drying
    • Dry wool moves on to subsequent separation stages
  • The material may be mixed, including fiberglass wool, wood fiber wool, mineral wool, cellulose wool, as well as foreign objects like gloves, screws, tape, cigarette butts, etc.
  • The system must have multiple containers for collecting different types of wool, and once a container reaches a suitable volume, it is directed to the crushing stage.
  • Crushed wool is then compressed into bags using a pressing system; the bags are sealed, labeled, and placed on pallets.
  • The construction will happen step-by-step:
    • First stage: pressing and packaging system (as I already have crushing capacity)
    • Second stage: separation and drying system
    • Third stage: crushing and final integration

Requirements and Expectations:

  • Capability to process at least 5 tons of wool per hour
  • Fully automated sorting, separation, and cleaning, including foreign object removal
  • The line should be accessible and manageable for maintenance and operation
  • The system should allow incremental upgrades and improvements

I am looking for:

  • Experienced engineers/companies capable of creating detailed designs and drawings
  • Expertise in equipment selection, integration, and testing based on prototype data
  • Solutions that fulfill the specified requirements within a reasonable budget and timeline

If you have ideas or ready proposals, please send your offers and portfolio. I look forward to the most cost-effective and efficient solutions!
