Estimator ( Mechanical Scope Of Work)

1. HVAC Systems (CSI Division 23)
Equipment Quantification: Take-off of major units: Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), Chillers, Cooling Towers, and Condensing Units (ACCU).
Ductwork Estimation: Measuring the weight (kg) or surface area ($m^2$) of galvanized iron (G.I.) sheets for supply, return, and exhaust ducts.
Air Distribution: Counting diffusers, grilles, registers, and volume control dampers (VCD).
Insulation: Estimating fiberglass or polyethylene foam insulation for both ducting and refrigerant piping.
2. Fire Protection System (CSI Division 21)
Piping Networks: Quantifying Black Iron (B.I.) pipes, including sizes for main headers and branch lines.
Sprinkler Heads: Counting upright, pendent, and sidewall sprinkler heads based on the hazard classification of the area.
Fire Pump Room: Estimating costs for the Fire Pump, Jockey Pump, controllers, and the associated valves (OS&Y, check valves).
Accessories: Including fire department connections (siamese twins), fire hose cabinets (FHC), and portable extinguishers.
3. Plumbing and Sanitary (CSI Division 22)
Fixture Count: Counting water closets, lavatories, urinals, and sinks.
Piping Systems: Differentiating between Potable Water (PPR pipes), Soil/Waste (PVC/Cast Iron), and Vent lines.
Water Storage & Transfer: Estimating cistern tanks, overhead tanks, and booster pump systems.
Septic & Drainage: Scoping out septic vault capacities and area drains.
4. Specialized Mechanical Elements
Kitchen Hoods & Exhaust: Scoping commercial-grade stainless steel hoods and high-static exhaust fans for kitchens.
Medical Gas: (If healthcare) Estimating oxygen, vacuum, and nitrous oxide piping and outlets.
BMS Integration: Coordinating with the Electrical Estimator on the cost of sensors and actuators for the Building Management System.
