Seeking Experienced Atticus Manuscript Editor (Word-Based Book with Diagrams
I am looking for a highly experienced manuscript editor and formatter who is proficient in both Microsoft Word and Atticus to prepare a book for publication.
The manuscript is currently in Word and requires professional setup, formatting, and integration into Atticus. A key component of this project includes incorporating 17 diagrams throughout the text, so experience with image placement, layout consistency, and print-ready formatting is essential.
Deliver final exported files as:
• Print-ready PDF
• EPUB ebook file
Scope of Work:
• Clean and structure an existing Word manuscript for import into Atticus
• Format chapters, headings, spacing, and styles for a polished, publication-ready layout
• Insert and properly align 17 diagrams within the text
• Ensure consistency across digital and print formats (eBook and PDF/print-ready)
• Collaborate on final visual flow and readability
Ideal Candidate:
• Demonstrated experience with Atticus publishing software
• Strong background in manuscript formatting and book design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word styles and document structuring
• Experience handling diagrams, images, or technical/illustrated content
• Detail-oriented with a good eye for clean, readable layout
