Looking for someone to set up and manage basic social media for a fishing-related product.
This is a lean, low-hours role:
Initial setup push (a few days to a week)
Then 1–3 hours per week ongoing
The goal is simple:
Get pages live, make the product understandable, and keep content consistent.
Scope of Work
Setup Phase (One-Time):
Create / clean up:
Facebook
Instagram
Establish simple, clean branding (not overdesigned)
Create 10–15 initial posts
Set up reusable templates
Ongoing (Weekly – Low Time Commitment):
2–4 posts per week
Light engagement (comments/messages)
Minor updates to graphics as needed
Important
This is not a high-budget marketing role.
This is execution + consistency, not complex strategy.
You will be given a basic explanation of the product and expected to:
Learn quickly
Ask questions if needed
Keep things moving without constant oversight
Requirements (Important Filters)
Some familiarity with fishing, boating, or outdoor space (does NOT need to be expert, but not zero exposure willing to read and learn)
Experience managing or posting on social media pages
Ability to create simple graphics (Canva is fine)
Reliable and consistent
Nice to Have
Understanding of offshore fishing or marine tools
Basic short-form video editing
