Freelance Arabic Translator

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Freelance Arabic Translators to join our professional language services network. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering accurate, culturally appropriate, and high-quality translations from English to Arabic and/or Arabic to English, depending on project requirements.

This role requires strong linguistic expertise, excellent writing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Freelancers will work on a project-by-project basis and collaborate closely with our editorial and project management teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate written content accurately between Arabic and English while preserving meaning, tone, and intent
Adapt content to be culturally and linguistically appropriate for the target audience
Proofread and edit translations to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and fluency
Follow client-specific terminology, style guides, and formatting requirements
Deliver completed projects within agreed timelines
Maintain confidentiality of all client materials and sensitive information
Communicate professionally with project managers regarding deadlines and clarifications


Required Qualifications:

Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Proven experience in professional translation (freelance or agency experience preferred)
Strong understanding of Arabic grammar, syntax, and regional variations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
Proficiency with translation tools (CAT tools) is an advantage
Reliable internet connection and availability for remote work

Legal, medical, technical, business, marketing, or academic translation
Localization and transcreation projects
Subtitling and document translation
