Freelance Project: Professional Accountant (Remote)
We are looking for an experienced freelance accountant to support our company’s financial management on an ongoing project basis.
Scope of Work:
* Maintain bookkeeping and ensure accurate financial records
* Prepare monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
* Manage invoices and follow up on overdue payments
* Handle VAT preparation and submissions
* Ensure compliance with HM Revenue & Customs and filing requirements of Companies House
* Use cloud accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks
Requirements:
* 3+ years accounting experience in UK
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting and VAT system
* Experience in financial reporting and reconciliations
* Qualification such as ACCA or ICAEW preferred
* Ability to work independently in a remote project setup
