I'm looking for a freelance underwriter experienced in U.S. commercial real estate, specifically retail plazas, multifamily properties, industrial properties, and office buildings in Florida. Projects will be on a property-by-property basis, with typical sizes ranging from approximately 10,000 to 75,000 square feet.
Key tasks include:
Valuing properties based on current market conditions (existing value as of today)
Projecting property values over the next 24 months considering lease turnovers and market rents
Reviewing and interpreting provided lease comps, sold comps, and market overviews (properties for sale and fully leased)
This role requires practical, grounded experience—nothing overly sophisticated—but accuracy and clarity are crucial.
