BaseTend is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented full-service bookkeeper with strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax requirements to support our growing operations. This role requires someone who can independently manage the complete bookkeeping cycle while ensuring compliance with Canadian tax regulations.

Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reconciliations
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
Handle GST/HST tracking, reporting, and filings in accordance with Canadian tax rules
Assist with payroll processing and remittances (CRA requirements)
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for accounting and audit purposes
Work with management and external accountants to support year-end filings and tax preparation
Monitor cash flow and help maintain financial accuracy across the business
This is an ongoing remote position for a professional who can take ownership of the company’s bookkeeping and ensure our financial records remain accurate, compliant, and up to date.
