Role Overview:
As a Full-Stack Web App Developer, you will develop our comprehensive web application. You will collaborate closely with our design and product teams to build a robust, user-friendly platform that scales across various functionalities. This role demands a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies and a passion for developing interactive digital solutions.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions within a web application framework.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to convert user requirements into practical, functional applications.
Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Address and rectify bottlenecks, bugs, and optimize application performance.
Uphold and enhance code quality, organization, and automation.
Document development processes, architecture, and essential components.
Utilize standard development tools for efficient software creation and maintenance.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on web applications.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and a solid grasp of server-side programming languages like Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Ember.
Experience with database systems such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to train them to fit specific platform needs using APIs.
Understanding of SEO best practices and their implementation in web development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple project priorities independently.
Proven web app development portfolio. 

Preferred Qualifications:
Agile development experience.
Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.
Experience with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
Personal experience with pets, particularly dogs or cats, is highly beneficial.
Previous experience in an animal welfare organization is a plus.

Compensation:
Competitive flat fee, project-based.
