Gas Hydrate Reservoir Numerical Simulation Engineer/Computational Geoscientist(TOUGH+HYDRATE+Tecplot)
This is a task in the field of reservoir numerical simulation for gas hydrates (marine hydrates) under drilling disturbance/drilling fluid invasion (geotechnical engineering/oil and gas reservoir engineering + multiphase flow–heat transfer coupling).
The specific task is:
Use TOUGH+HYDRATE to build a 2D cylindrical-coordinate (r–z) near-wellbore model to simulate the changes in temperature, pressure, and salinity/density caused by drilling fluid entering the hydrate reservoir during drilling, as well as the impacts on hydrate saturation and reservoir permeability; then use Tecplot to plot the results.
1. Be able to fully build and run the model using TOUGH+HYDRATE
2. Be able to run “variable cases” rather than only a single case
Specified variables:
Drilling fluid: temperature, salinity, density
Reservoir: hydrate saturation, permeability
3. Be able to convert TOUGH+HYDRATE outputs into Tecplot-ready data and complete the plotting
4. Be able to deliver a complete project package that is reproducible and runnable
5. Deliver within 1 week, preferably within 5 days, and be able to send progress screenshots during the task to communicate progress and ensure the task is completed smoothly.
If you are a TOUGH+HYDRATE simulation engineer who has worked on real hydrate/TOUGH-series projects, and you can complete the post-processing and plotting in Tecplot by yourself and deliver runnable project files, please tell me how long you realistically need to finish this task and how much payment you require from me.

Chemical/Mechanical Engineering (but must have TOUGH2/TOUGH+HYDRATE project experience)
