GIS / Cartography & API Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Territory Design & Maintenance
Group ZIP polygons into compact, contiguous, navigable regions.
Handle cross-county adjacency and boundary edge cases.
Ensure 20-minute street-level travel coherence (avoid tolls/highways).
Data Processing & Pipelines
Ingest and clean spatial datasets (ZIPs, counties, case locations, road networks).
Automate ETL for geospatial data refresh and updates.
Interactive Mapping
Build deep-zoom, interactive maps with clear area names and boundaries.
Overlay case points with service codes and provide filtering/search.
Add hover/click highlighting and operational tooltips.
API Development
Integrate routing and travel-time APIs (OSRM, Google Maps, OSM).
Expose endpoints to query case → territory mapping.
Operational Alignment
Validate territories against real travel behavior with ops team.
Continuously refine boundaries to improve routing efficiency.
