I need an indicator for the Ninja Trader 8 platform.
Part A: Draw a line everyday on the candle close at a time to be imputed. I would choose a time and the indicator would draw a line there everyday. Remember those lines and keep them on the chart. This line would begin at the imputed time of that day and extend into the future, and will not display in the past. Starting the indicator includes previous candle closes on each day. Another words, these lines would need to start approximately one year earlier than the current day and they would need to be the candle close on the changing (rollover) contracts, not a continuous contract.
Part B: With the above indicator, I need a filter to show the lines within a certain range. This is so there would not be thousands of lines on the chart (day after day). This filter would allow input of the range to display the lines as discussed above. For example, the input of CL would be the price point (chosen/input by the trader) of between 61.96 down to 57.96 (400 tick filter)--that would display the lines from Part A at the input time as described above.
