About the Project: 
We’re developing an illustrated book series for readers aged 10–14 — a world that blends K-pop energy, anime style, and global adventure. The stories are dark, edgy, and fun, with an artistic tone that’s both stylish and emotionally rich.
Each book is set in a different city around the world, forming a city-by-city storytelling ecosystem where the story becomes a bridge between imagination and real experience — inspiring young readers to see connection, creativity, and belonging on a global scale.

What We’re Looking For: 
A visionary illustrator who can bring this universe to life with vibrant, expressive visuals and strong storytelling instincts. The ideal artist (who can hand draw not computer generate) has a flair for fashion-forward character design, cinematic composition, and stylized environments that reflect both fantasy and real-world settings.


Responsibilities:
Develop original character designs inspired by K-pop / anime influences
Create dynamic scene illustrations that convey tone, mood, and narrative flow
Collaborate on concept direction for each city’s visual identity
Deliver artwork for book covers and interior spreads
Potential ongoing collaboration for multiple titles in the series


Ideal Qualifications:
Strong portfolio showcasing anime, K-pop, or stylized illustration work
Experience illustrating for middle-grade or teen audiences (10–14)
Ability to convey movement, energy, and emotional tone through visuals
Comfort blending urban, fantastical, and cultural design elements
Reliable, communicative, and self-directed work style


Project Details:
Freelance / contract-based per book or per milestone
Flexible timeline with room for creative development
Credit in published works and potential for continued collaboration across the series
