Junior Java Android Developer – App Bug

We are looking for a Junior Java Android Developer to help troubleshoot and fix issues in an existing Android application.
This is a remote, hourly position suitable for a junior developer who has practical experience with Java and Android Studio and is comfortable debugging an existing application.
Responsibilities:
Identify and fix bugs in an existing Android app
Troubleshoot crashes, UI issues, and unexpected application behavior
Make small improvements and code corrections as needed
Test fixes carefully before considering tasks complete
Communicate progress clearly and ask questions when requirements are unclear
Requirements:
Good understanding of Java
Experience with Android Studio and Android development
Basic knowledge of Android SDK, Gradle, APIs, and debugging
Ability to understand and work with an existing codebase
Reliable communication and availability for remote work
Willingness to follow confidentiality and code-security requirements
Important – Source Code Access:
We do not provide or transfer the complete source code/codebase to freelancers.
Development will be performed through a secure remote development environment or other controlled-access method provided by us. The selected developer must be comfortable working under these conditions and must not copy, download, distribute, or retain project source code.
Rate: $3 USD/hour
