Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal figure in building and nurturing long-lasting relationships with our strategic accounts.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining and expanding our customer base through exceptional customer relationship management, effective pipeline management, and a strong commitment to account revenue growth. This role requires a keen ability to resolve issues efficiently, enhance account and staff training and development, and create sustainable, long-term partnerships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Understand their needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Pipeline Management: Actively manage and oversee the sales pipeline for key accounts. Ensure a steady flow of potential opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
Account Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for revenue growth within key accounts. Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales performance and achieve growth objectives.
Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, swiftly identifying, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through effective problem-solving and communication.
Staff and Account Training and Development: Lead, train, and develop customer teams to better understand industry and platform. Ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage and grow these accounts.
Creating Long-Term Partnerships: Focus on building and sustaining long-term partnerships with strategic accounts. Develop a deep understanding of each client's business to foster a sense of partnership and alignment.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align our services with the clients’ long-term goals.
Reporting and Analysis: Regularly track and analyze account performance against targets. Provide detailed reports and insights to senior management, making informed recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role, with a focus on customer relationship management, sales growth, and account development.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and pipeline management abilities.
Demonstrated success in growing account revenues and forming long-term client relationships.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Critical thinking abilities to analyze and resolve challenges in a strategic manner.
