I was denied Crime Victims Compensation from the IL Attorney General. They claim the Hate Crime I was the victim of was Slander but not a compensable crime. I filed an appeal and received a letter stating that a commissioner would conduct a hearing. I need a lawyer to argue that my case includes Stalking, and Cyber Stalking for the purpose of a Hate crime, which is eligible for victims' compensation.
