Leaflet Map Rendering Specialist Needed - Fix Low Resolution & Color Ramp Issues
We need an expert in Leaflet/Mapbox map rendering to improve our marine fishing intelligence platform.
The Problems:
Low render quality on map tiles
Color ramp visualization issues for oceanographic data layers
Overall map quality not competitive with industry standards
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and fix current rendering quality issues
Optimize tile rendering for high-resolution display
Implement proper color ramp gradients for data layers (SST, chlorophyll, etc.)
Work with existing React/Leaflet codebase
You Should Have:
Expert-level experience with Leaflet.js or Mapbox GL
Proven track record fixing map rendering/tile quality issues
Experience with oceanographic or geospatial data visualization
Portfolio showing high-quality map implementations
Project Details:
Contract position, 20 hours or less to fix issues
Existing codebase in React/FastAPI
Work builds on current implementation
Remote work
This is advanced work that should be a total solution. However, this is start up work and the project is over budget and several months late. There is no time or tolerance for fix break fix cycles.  Thank you !
