I’m looking for a legal or regulatory professional with experience in healthcare, wellness, or consumer product compliance to conduct an initial review of my wellness-focused website before launch.
The website, allows users to share personal experiences with home remedies and wellness practices. It does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
What I need:
Review the current website as it stands (public pages, remedy categories, disclaimers, and language).
Identify any non-compliant language, potential regulatory risks, and areas that could trigger issues with FDA, FTC, or Health Canada guidelines.
Provide written feedback and practical recommendations on what needs to be changed or improved for a safe and legally compliant launch.
This is a limited-scope review only for now. Once I review your feedback, there may be a Phase 2 for helping implement those changes.
Ideal experience:
Familiarity with FDA/FTC marketing and advertising guidelines, especially for health, wellness, supplements, or community content.
Comfort reviewing disclaimers, user-generated content risks, and terminology (e.g., use of the word “remedy”).
Knowledge of privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA) is a plus but not essential.
