Project Title:

End-to-End Logistics Engineering & Shipping System Development (China → DR → USA) – Enclosed Cargo Trailers

---

Project Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable logistics professional or team to design, engineer, implement, and manage a complete global shipping system for our operation.

This includes:

• Inbound logistics: China → Dominican Republic (materials & components)

• Outbound logistics: Dominican Republic → United States (finished enclosed cargo trailers)

This is not a basic freight coordination role. We are looking for someone who can fully develop and execute a scalable, cost-optimized logistics structure from the ground up.

Our objective is to establish a long-term, rock-solid shipping system that is reliable, efficient, and capable of supporting increasing production volumes.

---

Primary Objective:

Develop and implement a logistics model that can:

• Efficiently move materials and components from China to the Dominican Republic (FTZ-based operation)

• Consistently achieve a maximum shipping cost of $500 per trailer for DR → USA shipments

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs further wherever possible

We are specifically looking for professionals who are 100% confident in their ability to meet or exceed these targets, and who can support that confidence with a structured and actionable plan.

---

Scope of Work:

The selected professional/team will be responsible for:

🔹 China → Dominican Republic (Inbound Supply Chain)

• Designing a containerized shipping strategy for materials and components

• Optimizing container utilization (20ft / 40ft / consolidation planning)

• Structuring shipment cadence aligned with production schedules

• Identifying and negotiating with carriers and freight forwarders

• Ensuring FTZ compliance for duty-free import and re-export

---

🔹 Dominican Republic → United States (Outbound Shipping)

• Designing a complete trailer shipping strategy

• Evaluating optimal transport methods (RoRo, mafi, flat rack, tow/convoy, hybrid solutions, etc.)

• Engineering loading structures and shipment density models

• Identifying and securing carriers active in Caribbean–US Southeast trade lanes

• Negotiating competitive freight rates

• Developing shipment cadence and volume strategy

• Implementing and managing logistics operations end-to-end

---

🚀 Openness to Cost-Saving Strategies & Innovation:

We are fully open to any and all creative, unconventional, or optimized logistics strategies that can help reduce shipping costs and improve efficiency.

This may include (but is not limited to):

• Tow/convoy loading strategies

• Hybrid shipping models

• Alternative routing or port strategies

• Innovative carrier negotiation structures

• Any other cost-saving logistics engineering approaches

We strongly encourage applicants to think beyond traditional methods and propose innovative solutions that can help us achieve or exceed our cost targets.

---

Trailer Specifications (For Shipping Planning):

Trailer Type: Enclosed Cargo Trailer

• Body Width: 8.5 ft (102 in)

• Body Length: 17 ft (204 in)

• Overall Length (with tongue): approx. 21–22 ft

• Interior Height: approx. 6.5–7 ft

• Exterior Height: approx. 8–9 ft

• Estimated Shipping Weight: approx. 2,800 lbs per unit

• Configuration: Tandem axle, towable

Key Considerations:

• Trailers are lightweight but high-volume cargo

• Shipping efficiency will depend heavily on loading structure and density

• We are open to design adjustments that improve shipping efficiency (removable components, nesting, stackability, etc.)

---

Production & Operational Context:

• Initial production: approx. 3–5 trailers per day

• Scaling to significantly higher volumes as facility expands

• Manufacturing located within a Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in the Dominican Republic

• Primary destination ports: Charleston, Savannah, Jacksonville

---

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have proven experience in international logistics and freight engineering

• Understand China → Caribbean → US supply chain flows

• Have experience with container shipping, RoRo, project cargo, or heavy equipment transport

• Can demonstrate cost optimization and carrier negotiation expertise

• Are capable of delivering a fully executable logistics system, not just advisory input

---

Proposal Requirements (Very Important):

To be considered, you must provide a detailed proposal explaining exactly how you will achieve or exceed our requirements.

Your proposal should include:

• China → DR shipping structure and cost approach

• DR → USA trailer shipping strategy

• Loading structure and density modeling approach

• Carrier sourcing and negotiation strategy

• Preliminary cost assumptions and estimates

• Execution plan (step-by-step)

• Implementation timeline

• Any innovative or alternative strategies to reduce cost

---

Performance Incentive:

We are open to structuring performance-based incentives or bonuses for achieving shipping costs significantly below the $500 per trailer target.

---

Important Note:

We are not looking for generic responses or basic freight coordination.

We are specifically seeking someone who can:

«Engineer, structure, implement, and manage a complete global logistics system with confidence and accountability.»

---

If you have the experience, capability, and confidence to deliver on this, we look forward to reviewing your proposal and exploring a long-term partnership.

---

Best regards,

Daniel
