Job Title: Convert Architectural Plans into Software Model for Materials Takeoff



Project Overview


I have completed architectural plans for a building project, and I need them drawn into construction design software so that I can generate a detailed materials list. The goal is to have accurate quantities for all major building elements.


Scope of Work


Input my existing architectural plans into a program such as Chief Architect, AutoCAD, Revit, or another similar tool that can provide a full materials takeoff.
Produce a detailed materials list/estimate that includes (but is not limited to):

Bricks and masonry
Paint (interior & exterior)
Windows & doors
Roofing materials
Sheetrock/drywall
Foundation walls & footings
Driveway materials
Interior finishes




Deliverables


A digital model of the project created in professional software (format agreed upon at the start).
A comprehensive bill of materials/quantities report based on the model.
(Optional) Ability to export reports into Excel or PDF format for further cost estimating.



Requirements


Experience with Chief Architect, AutoCAD, Revit, or other construction estimating/design software.
Proven background in generating accurate quantity takeoffs from plans.
Attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural drawings correctly.
