Project Description:
CarryConnect is a platform designed to connect users who need to send items with trusted travelers, offering a convenient and cost-effective alternative to traditional courier services. We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer or team to develop both the mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications for our innovative platform. This project offers the opportunity to build a user-friendly application with a positive social impact.

Scope of Work:
The selected developer(s) will be responsible for the full lifecycle development of the CarryConnect mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications, as detailed in the attached Scope of Work (SOW) document. The project will be developed in phases, with an initial focus on delivering a robust Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with core functionalities for both mobile and web.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop cross-platform mobile applications (iOS and Android) using React Native.
Develop the web application using React.js.
Build and maintain a scalable backend using Node.js and Express.js.
Design and implement a PostgreSQL database.
Integrate with third-party services, including payment gateways (Stripe or PayPal), Signal (for secure communication), and mapping/location services (Google Maps Platform or similar).
Ensure the application is secure, performant, and scalable.
Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, UI/UX, functional, performance, and security) for both mobile and web.
Provide clear and concise technical documentation.
Adhere to an Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in developing and deploying mobile applications (iOS and Android) using React Native.
Proven experience in developing web applications using React.js.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js for backend development.
Solid understanding of database design and management, specifically with PostgreSQL.
Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
Experience integrating third-party services, including payment gateways (Stripe/PayPal), communication platforms (Signal), and mapping services (Google Maps Platform).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Firebase or AWS.
Experience with push notifications (FCM and APNs).
Strong understanding of mobile and web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
A portfolio of successfully launched mobile and web applications.
