I'm the developer of BandHelper, a cross-platform organizational tool used by musicians around the world. I'm looking for another local developer who can help with various programming tasks in the iOS and Android apps. This would be a part-time, freelance arrangement, but I'm looking for someone who can work with me long-term to gain a deeper familiarity with the product.
Here are some example projects:
• The apps have a peer-to-peer sharing function that bands can use while performing, but it sometimes has connection problems. I've already rewritten the code two or three times and need some fresh ideas and experience to improve it further.
• I started the apps 15 years ago, so updating the code for SDK deprecations and taking advantage of new platform features are ongoing tasks.
• I have no automated testing in place, and I could use help implementing testing tools.
The apps are native and are written with Swift (UIKit) on iOS and Kotlin on Android. We can share code updates through my Subversion repository.
