I’m looking for a long-term video editor to become a genuine part of this project. This isn’t just another freelance job where you edit a video and move on. My goal is to find someone who wants to build our channel, not just edit for my channel.
I want someone I can work closely with for years, bounce ideas off, improve alongside, celebrate milestones together, and create something we’re both proud of.
The Vision:
The channel focuses on documentary-style horror, true crime, mysteries, internet horror, disturbing events, paranormal stories and psychological horror.
A huge inspiration for this project is Brew:

One of my friends works for Brew, and seeing what they’ve built inspired me to finally pursue my own channel. He even invited me to work with them, but I wanted to build something of my own from the ground up.
If you haven’t watched Brew before, please do before applying. That editing style is exactly what I’m aiming for.
I love how their videos feel cinematic without being over-edited:

I want someone who enjoys experimenting, suggesting ideas and making every video better than the last.

These tools are there to help you create scenes that would otherwise take hours.
However…
I don’t anything to look AI generated.
AI should only be used where it genuinely improves the edit or saves time—not as a replacement for real editing. If viewers can tell it’s AI, we’ve gone too far AND ITS BAD.

Right now it uses a black-and-white animated documentary style, which I think is a solid foundation.
However, I want to take the production quality to another level and evolve towards something much closer to Brew’s immersive documentary style.

Using that narration, I’d love you to create a short sample showing how you think this channel should look.

Budget:
I’ll be completely transparent.
This channel is brand new, so right now I’m investing into building it rather than making money from it.
Because of that, the starting budget is tighter than it will be in the future.
I’m looking for someone who believes in building something long-term rather than chasing a single high-paying project.
As the channel grows, my intention is to increase pay and reward the people who helped build it from day one. Loyalty and great work won’t go unnoticed.
