We are seeking a skilled PHP & WordPress Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance our WordPress-based websites. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PHP development, WordPress customization, and plugin/theme updates, with a focus on site performance, security, and functionality.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update WordPress websites, including core, theme, and plugin updates.Customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, compatibility issues, and security vulnerabilities.Develop new features and functionality according to project requirements.Optimize site performance, including speed and SEO best practices.Manage website backups, migrations, and hosting environments.Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to implement design and content updates.Monitor and enhance website security measures.Qualifications & SkillsProven experience in PHP and WordPress development (minimum 2–3 years preferred).Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.Familiarity with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.Experience with version control (Git) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Preferred ExperienceKnowledge of WooCommerce customization.Familiarity with REST API integration.Experience with security tools and firewalls for WordPress.Graphic editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, or similar) are a plus.
