Job Title: Social Media Content Designer

Location: Remote (This work requires designs for Alcoholic beverages and coffee products)

Employment Type: Full-time, Monthly Salary paid at the end of each month. 

Salary: $250 USD per month (No advanced payments)


About Us: We're looking for a talented and creative Social Media Content Designer to join our team, working across two exciting brands: Bailasan Liquor Store (selling Spirits, Beer, & Wine) and Real Coffee (Nespresso Compatible coffee capsules). If you have a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a strong understanding of social media trends, we want to hear from you!


Job Summary: The Social Media Content Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing social media content, including posts, reels, and stories, for both Bailasan Liquor Store and Real Coffee. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to produce content that resonates with our target audiences on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce at least thirty (30) stories per month for each business (Bailasan Liquor Store and Real Coffee), ensuring daily engagement.
  • Create a minimum of four (4) engaging social media posts per week for each business (totaling 8 posts per week).
  • Develop and edit a minimum of fifteen (15) reels/shorts per month for each business (totaling 30 reels/shorts per month), optimized for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Strategically post all created content across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, adhering to scheduled timings.
  • Optimize content for maximum visibility and engagement by conducting hashtag research and effectively applying relevant hashtags, as well as correctly tagging relevant accounts, collaborators, and locations.
  • Conceptualize and execute creative visual concepts that align with each brand's identity and marketing goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, design tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the management to ensure content meets objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Manage content schedules and ensure timely delivery of all required assets.
  • Adapt content formats and styles for different social media platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media content design and creation (graphic design, video editing for social media).
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma) and video editing software (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, Adobe Premier Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong understanding of social media platform requirements and best practices for Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Excellent visual storytelling abilities and a strong portfolio of social media work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Good communication skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Social Media Content Designer

We will be measuring the KPI’s based on the following criteria’s:

  • Content Output & Timeliness (Volume & Adherence to Schedule):
    1. Stories Published (Monthly per brand):
    2. Target: 30 stories per month for Bailasan Liquor Store AND 30 stories per month for Real Coffee (Total: 60 stories/month).
    3. Measurement: Count of unique stories published per brand per month.
    4. Note: This implies a daily story for each brand.
    5. Posts Published (Weekly per brand):
    6. Target: 4 posts per week for Bailasan Liquor Store AND 4 posts per week for Real Coffee (Total: 8 posts/week, or approximately 32-35 posts/month).
    7. Measurement: Count of unique static/carousel posts published per brand per week/month.
    8. Reels/Shorts Published (Monthly per brand):
    9. Target: 15 reels/shorts per month for Bailasan Liquor Store AND 15 reels/shorts per month for Real Coffee (Total: 30 reels/shorts/month).
    10. Measurement: Count of unique short-form videos published per brand per month.
    11. Content Delivery Adherence Rate:
    12. Target: 95-100% of all scheduled content delivered on or before agreed-upon deadlines.
    13. Measurement: (Number of contents delivered on time / Total number of contents scheduled) * 100.
  • Content Quality & Brand Adherence:
    • Brand Visual Consistency Score:
    • Target: High consistency (e.g., 4-5 out of 5 on a qualitative scale).
    • Measurement: A subjective assessment based on adherence to brand guidelines (colors, fonts, logo usage, overall aesthetic, tone of voice implied by visuals) for both Bailasan Liquor Store and Real Coffee. 
    • Design Quality & Creativity Score:
    • Target: High quality and innovative designs (e.g., 4-5 out of 5).
    • Measurement: Qualitative assessment of the aesthetic appeal, originality, effective use of design principles, and overall professionalism of the content produced.
    • Error Rate (Visual/Textual):
    • Target: Less than 1-2 errors per 100 pieces of content.
    • Measurement: Number of instances of grammatical errors, typos, misspellings, factual inaccuracies (if text is provided by designer), or significant visual glitches/mistakes in published content.
  • Engagement & Reach (Effectiveness of Content):

Note: These KPIs measure the impact of the content, which the designer directly influences through their creativity and understanding of platform trends. We would typically review these metrics using Facebook/Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, and YouTube Studio.

  • Growth of total number of followers on each social media platform. 
  • Average Engagement Rate (per post/reel/story):
  • Measurement: 
    • (Likes + Comments + Shares + Saves) / Reach * 100 (for posts/reels on Instagram/Facebook). 
    • Story Engagement Rate: (Taps Forward + Replies + Shares + Profile Visits) / Story Reach * 100).
    • TikTok/YouTube Shorts Engagement: (Likes + Comments + Shares) / Views * 100.
  • Target: Estimated benchmark targets based on the industry averages (e.g., 2-5% is generally good for posts, higher for reels).
  • Average Reach (per post/reel/story):
  • Measurement: The number of unique accounts that saw the content. Track this per content type per brand.
  • Target: Aim for consistent or growing reach across content types.
  • Impressions (per post/reel/story):
  • Measurement: Total number of times the content was displayed (can be higher than reach as one person might see it multiple times). Important for brand visibility.
  • Target: Consistent or growing impressions.
  • Reel/Shorts View Count (Average & Total):
  • Measurement: Total views generated by short-form video content.
  • Target: Aim for increasing view counts, especially for viral potential.
  • Reel/Shorts Average Watch Time / Completion Rate:
  • Measurement: The average percentage of the video watched. (e.g., 3-second average watch time for a 15-second reel means 20% completion).
  • Target: High completion rates indicate compelling content.
  • Story Taps Forward/Backward/Exits Rates:
  • Measurement: % of viewers who tap forward quickly (potentially indicating disinterest), tap back (re-watching), or exit the story.
  • Target: Aim for lower tap-forward and exit rates, and higher engagement (e.g., replies, profile visits).
  • Profile Visits (from content):
  • Measurement: Number of times users visited your profile directly from a piece of content (especially relevant for stories and reels).
  • Target: Consistent increase in profile visits leading to potential follows or website clicks.

IV. Collaboration & Professionalism:

  1. Communication & Responsiveness:
    • Measurement: Qualitative assessment of timeliness, clarity, and effectiveness in communication regarding tasks, feedback, and challenges.
  2. Proactive Idea Generation:
    • Measurement: Number of new, relevant content ideas (themes, trends, formats) proposed by the designer that are ultimately used.
  3. Feedback Implementation Rate:
    • Measurement: The speed and accuracy with which feedback on designs is understood and incorporated into revisions.
