Job Description:
We are Bailasan Liquor Store, a licensed liquor store operating in Amman, Jordan, since 2015. We are expanding online and have purchased the Liquory WordPress WooCommerce theme to build a fully functional, mobile-responsive eCommerce website for our liquor business.
We are looking to hire a professional and experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer to build, customize, and launch our online store. You must have hands-on experience in WooCommerce projects and be capable of turning the Liquory theme into a powerful, visually appealing, and secure sales platform.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Professional UI/UX & Design
- Install Liquory Theme and clean up all unnecessary demo data/bloat.
- Customize the design (Colors, Fonts, Layout) to match our premium branding.
- Mobile First: The mobile view must be perfect (padding, button sizes, and navigation must be flawless on phones).
2. WooCommerce Functionality
- Setup Categories (Whiskey, Vodka, Wine, Beer) and Attributes (Size, ABV).
- Configure Shipping Zones (Amman specific areas) + Local Pickup.
- Integrate Payment Gateway (Credentials provided).
- Mandatory: 18+ Age Verification popup on first visit.
3. Advanced Marketing Integration (Must be verified)
- Google Analytics 4 & Meta (Facebook) Pixel: Setup via Google Tag Manager.
- Events: You must verify that ViewContent, AddToCart, and Purchase events are firing correctly with the correct Value ($) parameters.
- Requirement: You will provide a screen recording demonstrating these events firing in the Meta Test Events tool.
4. Performance & Security
- Speed: Achieve 90+ Score on Google PageSpeed Insights (Mobile & Desktop).
- Optimization: Image compression (WebP), Code Minification, and Caching setup.
- Security: SSL setup, Change default login URL, Anti-spam on checkout.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with High-Performance WooCommerce sites.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
