We are seeking a skilled developer to create a fast-loading Windows or related OS program that will run on a touch screen TV. The program should load automatically when a small HDMI device is powered up and connected to the TV. Additionally, we require support in creating the necessary hardware for this setup.
Two parts this requirement
- help us identify a small device or create one, that can work like Raspberry Pi that can have memory and hard drive
- it cannot be a Raspberry PI
- it must load the OS not necessarily Windows, need it to be light and reliable
- Chrome OS is an alternative or anything else you can recommend
Second part is -
- display on a large touch screen TV that will work like a kiosk
- this is for Furniture Retailers store selling Home Furniture
- so you must have an idea as to how the interface will look (similar to a website)
- all data API's will be provided to you with images and content for the program to render on the screen
- the interface will allow users to browse thru the content and select items to purchase
