We’re seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies to validate new features and ensure our SAAS platform operates flawlessly for our diverse user base. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to deliver a seamless and dependable user experience. Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Test Execution & Reporting: Execute both manual and automated tests to verify new features and track bug fixes. Document, report, and follow up on issues, ensuring thorough defect analysis and prioritization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements, ensuring testing methodologies align with product goals and regulatory standards within the fintech domain.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and contribute to the adoption of best practices in QA testing. Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in fintech and quality assurance.
- Quality Advocacy: Serve as the quality champion by providing insights and data-driven recommendations to enhance platform performance and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, particularly with SAAS applications and preferably within the fintech sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual testing methodologies. Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus but not required.
Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of fintech applications, including typical compliance and regulatory considerations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document test cases and report defects.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
