Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer to redesign and rebuild the front end of our website, which is built with Django on the backend. The project focuses exclusively on the front-end development and design, with no major backend modifications required. The developer will create new HTML, JavaScript, and CSS files, along with a complete graphical design for each page, including images and potentially videos.
Responsibilities
UI/UX Design:
Create user-centered designs by analyzing user requirements and feedback.
Design visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for all website pages.
Produce high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and prototypes for each page.
Develop original graphical assets, including images, icons, and potentially videos, ensuring brand consistency.
Front-End Development:
Build responsive and cross-browser compatible HTML, JavaScript, and CSS files.
Implement the new front-end design, ensuring seamless integration with the existing Django backend.
Optimize front-end performance for fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
Ensure accessibility compliance (e.g., WCAG standards).
Testing & Validation:
Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, or similar).
Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.
Experience integrating front-end code with Django templates (Jinja2).
Design Skills:
Expertise in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
Ability to create high-quality graphical assets (images, icons, videos) using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software of your choice.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills to collaborate remotely with the team.
Attention to detail and a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Deliverables
Complete set of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS files for the website.
High-fidelity mockups and prototypes for all website pages.
