I previously ran an image translation website that allows users to upload images with text, automatically extract the text, and translate it into multiple languages. The core functionality works, but the current UI is outdated, the user experience is basic, and performance can be significantly improved.
I’m looking for a designer-developer (or a designer + developer team) to redesign the UI and rebuild the website to make it more visually appealing, modern, and high-performing.
Scope of work:
• Redesign the entire UI: homepage, upload zone, OCR preview, translation result display, and multilingual switcher. Style should be clean, professional, and trustworthy.
• Improve user flow: enhance feedback, loading states, and micro-interactions for a smoother experience.
• Rebuild the frontend: using modern tech (React/Vue or lightweight HTML/CSS/JS), fully responsive and fast-loading.
• Optimize backend: improve file handling, OCR efficiency (e.g., Tesseract.js), and security (auto-delete, no tracking).
• Support 15+ language UIs with flexible layout.
Goal: Deliver a faster, more beautiful, and user-friendly experience to increase engagement, retention, and organic traffic.
