I am looking for a designer/structural engineer to redesign current I-Beams (4 different sizes 310UB 32, 310UB 46.2, 410UB 59.7, 530UB 82 and 610UB 101) from steel to Glass Fibre composites based on wind loading from Australian Standards AS5100.2 (AS1170.2). The aim is to update the design of the current steel posts applying appropriate wind load casing to Glass Fibre Composite Beams. No limitations on the design space. Material properties such as Young's modulus of the glass fibre composites can be provided. Report should include updated design and associated calculations based on wind load case adhering to deflection requirements.
